Ujjwal Kumar’s Andaman Review with Thrillophilia: A Trip That Felt Active, Engaging and Well-Supported
For many travellers, choosing a tour operator is often the first moment of doubt. When Ujjwal booked his Andaman trip through Thrillophilia, he hoped for two things: a clear itinerary and a team that stayed attentive while he travelled. By the end of the journey, what remained in his mind was not just the islands he visited but the people managing the trip behind the scenes. Lakshya Suthar, Anwar, Gourav and the other points of contact made the experience comfortable by staying active, responding quickly and keeping the flow of the trip intact.
Ujjwal later said he would happily contact Thrillophilia again for future trips and recommend them to his friends, not because the itinerary was complex, but because the ground team handled every part of the journey with steady attention.
Starting the Trip: Arrival in Port Blair and Heading Straight to Havelock
The trip began on the day Ujjwal landed in Port Blair. A representative met him at the airport, and instead of spending the day in the capital city, he was taken directly toward the jetty. The transition from airport to ferry felt straightforward, and soon he was on the boat to Havelock Island.
Havelock is often the place that sets the tone for Andaman vacations. With its spacious beaches and calm surroundings, it offers something different from the city rhythm. Once Ujjwal reached the island, he checked into his stay and had the rest of the evening to explore the area at his own pace. Even without planned activities for the night, the island itself felt inviting and relaxing.
Discovering Elephant Beach and Its Marine Beauty
On the second day, Ujjwal visited Elephant Beach. The morning began with a boat ride across clear water, giving him a good view of the coastline before reaching the beach.
Elephant Beach is particularly known for its corals close to the shore, and Ujjwal spent time observing the marine life during the snorkelling session included in his itinerary. The colours, the reef structure and the simple novelty of looking underwater made the activity memorable. Water sports were available as add-ons, giving him the option to customise his day as he preferred.
When he returned to his hotel after the visit, the rest of the day was his to spend freely, and he used the time to relax and enjoy Havelock’s quiet charm.
Kalapathar Beach, Moving to Neil Island and an Evening Outdoors
Day three began with a checkout from his Havelock hotel. Before leaving the island, the itinerary included a stop at Kalapathar Beach. This beach is known for its contrast — black volcanic rocks scattered along a clear white shore with turquoise-blue waters stretching ahead. The scenery stood out because it differed from the open beaches he had seen earlier. It made for a refreshing final impression of Havelock before he moved on.

Later, he boarded his ferry to Neil Island. The ride gave him time to enjoy the sea views once again. Once he reached Neil Island, his first outing was to Laxmanpur Beach. The sunset here is considered one of the most beautiful in the islands. The light touched the water softly, and the quietness of the beach made the stop peaceful.
Before the evening ended, he visited the Natural Coral Bridge. This structure, formed naturally by coral growth, has become a popular spot for photos and exploration. The formations appeared interesting up close, and it added a unique feature to his day on Neil Island.
A Morning at Bharatpur Beach and Returning to Port Blair
On the fourth morning, Ujjwal visited Bharatpur Beach. The beach had a different energy from the previous ones — brighter, more open and ideal for water activities. He spent time exploring the shoreline and observing other travellers trying the available activities.
After completing his sightseeing in Neil Island, he boarded his ferry back to Port Blair. Once he arrived, he visited Corbyn Cove Beach again briefly before making his way to Cellular Jail for the historical part of the itinerary.
The light and sound show at the jail narrated the stories of India’s freedom struggle in a clear, impactful way. For Ujjwal, it added depth to the trip, showing the powerful history of the islands beyond their natural beauty.
This night in Port Blair gave him the chance to reflect on how different each island felt. Havelock had soft beaches, Neil had peaceful stretches, and Port Blair combined history with coastal views.
Ending the Trip on a Comfortable Note
The fifth day marked the end of the journey. Ujjwal enjoyed his breakfast, packed his belongings and headed to the airport. There were no long stops or diversions, and he had time to relax before boarding his flight home.

The Andaman Islands offered him a mix of adventure, scenic beauty and moments of calm. But the factor that stood out most in his feedback was the consistent attention from the coordinators — Lakshya, Anwar, Gourav and the other members who handled the trip from different locations.
Their involvement shaped the experience in the right way.
Final Thoughts
Looking back, Ujjwal described the trip as a great experience. He appreciated the behaviour and responsiveness of the POCs and felt confident enough to say that he would choose Thrillophilia again for future travel plans. The Andaman itinerary introduced him to beaches, ferries, underwater views, evening sunsets and historical stories. But what made the journey comfortable was the presence of people who guided him at each stage without requiring him to figure out things on his own.
It was a straightforward, enjoyable holiday, one he would gladly recommend to others.
