Devika Muthamma’s Bali Story with Thrillophilia: A Short Trip Filled With Big Memories
For Devika Muthamma and Chethan Kumar, Bali became more than a tropical holiday. It became a set of memories they knew they would talk about for years. Their trip was filled with scenic surprises, moments of joy and the reassuring support of the people handling their journey. Whenever Devika recalled the experience, her heart stayed full of gratitude for Thrillophilia and for the one person who made every day smooth, calm and perfectly guided: Mr Fariz, their local coordinator.
It was a trip that started with a slight hiccup but transformed quickly into a holiday they would always remember fondly.
A Calm Beginning in Kuta
Arriving in Kuta brought the first taste of Bali’s relaxed charm. Devika and Chethan stepped out of the airport to find a comfortable SUV waiting for them. The warm, easy welcome reminded them instantly why Bali is such a loved destination. Reaching YELLO Hotel Kuta Beachwalk added to the atmosphere. The colourful spaces, lively interiors and convenience of staying right next to Beachwalk Mall set the tone for a comfortable stay.
The first evening allowed them to settle in, enjoy the surroundings and shake off the stress of travel. Behind the scenes, Thrillophilia’s support team had already ensured everything was aligned for the next few days. Their quick handling of the initial issue proved how efficient and attentive the entire team was.
That small gesture of being there right when needed gave Devika the confidence that the rest of the trip would flow beautifully.
Nusa Penida: A Day That Felt Straight Out of a Postcard
The second day began early with their transfer to the harbour. Even before stepping on the speedboat, there was one constant presence Fariz, guiding them, updating them and ensuring that the day unfolded without a single hitch. His experience and patience set the perfect foundation for Bali’s most iconic day trip.
The journey across clear blue water to Nusa Penida created a sense of anticipation. This island is known for its dramatic cliffs and turquoise waters, and it did not disappoint. Kelingking Beach was their first stop, a cliff shaped like a T-Rex head overlooking a shoreline that felt untouched. The view was captivating, and both Devika and Chethan admired the beauty silently, taking in the scale and colours of nature.

Angel’s Billabong added a different mood with its natural infinity pool carved into rocks. The shimmering water, the sound of waves and the openness of the horizon made this spot unforgettable. Broken Bay created another highlight. The unique rock arch and the power of the ocean made it feel almost surreal.
Crystal Bay concluded their Nusa Penida circuit with a much-needed calm atmosphere. The water was clear, the sand was soft, and it felt like the perfect place to unwind before heading back to the mainland. By the end of the day, the couple felt grateful for how smoothly everything flowed. Not once did they feel rushed or confused. The organisation was flawless, and much of the credit went to Fariz, whose presence kept the day worry-free.
A Blend of Nature, Culture and Pure Fun
The next day brought one of Bali’s most iconic full-day tours. Their SUV arrived on time, and Devika once again appreciated how professional and reliable the arrangements were.
The first major sight was Kintamani, where the sweeping views of Mount Batur and its surroundings created a dramatic landscape. From there, the coffee plantation offered an opportunity to learn, taste and enjoy the flavours that Bali is known for. The aroma, the fields and the local touch added warmth to the experience.
Tegenungan Waterfall brought energy back into the day with its refreshing sound and lush environment. It was visually stunning and naturally photogenic, making it one of their favourite stops.
The Tegalalang Rice Terrace followed, offering an entirely different kind of beauty. The cascading layers of green fields, the quiet paths and the height of the terraces created a peaceful environment. This was Bali at its most traditional and scenic.
Then came the part of the day that many travellers look forward to the Bali Jungle Swing. Unlimited swings and nests offered endless opportunities to enjoy the thrill of soaring over the valley. The sweeping views, the laughter and the shared excitement turned this into one of the most memorable activities of their entire trip.
Their complimentary local lunch added flavour to the day and allowed them to relax before heading back.
The End of a Lovely Holiday
When the final day arrived, the couple found themselves a little reluctant to leave. Bali had treated them well with sunny skies, beautiful spots and an itinerary that was packed yet well spaced out. The smooth airport transfer marked the end of their journey, but the memories remained vivid.

They carried home photographs of blue waters, greenery, cliffs and swings, but what touched Devika the most was how professionally Thrillophilia handled every part of the trip. The team’s quick problem-solving in the beginning, the steady support throughout the journey and the effort to keep everything seamless made a huge difference.
And among everyone involved, one name stood at the top. Fariz had been patient, calm and incredibly dependable. He guided them through every step with a smile, and that made the entire holiday feel smooth and worry-free.
A Trip They Would Happily Relive
For Devika and Chethan, this Bali escape became a lifetime memory. It was a small vacation, but it held the happiness of something much larger. From breathtaking landscapes to the comforting reassurance of a well-planned itinerary, everything came together beautifully.
Their closing thought was simple and sincere. They would choose Thrillophilia again for their next journey, because this one had proven that good planning, kind people and consistent support can turn a short holiday into something unforgettable.
