Bridging Hearts Through Travel - Chandini’s Honeymoon Trip to Italy and Spain
Football can connect the whole world. They held this thought very close to their heart since the beginning of their relationship.
Coming from two different cities with different mindsets and cultures, they both had connected via football. Both loved the sport a lot.
So, after almost 6-7 years when they were planning their honeymoon trip, they chose to visit Spain.
It was their honeymoon trip, on which they wished to connect to the roots of their feelings for each other, making them stronger and deeper. They had a common friend through whom they got to know about Thrillophilia and its services. After connecting with their team, they analysed the packages, and their prices and finally came to select one plan that seemed to go according to their idea- the Spain and Italy Honeymoon package.
Till the start the the trip the team made regular interactions with the couple, finalising hotels and transfers, giving coupons and counselling them about the place, its currency, culture and everything. Although the couple knew what to expect, there was no harm in learning more- it would only help them to prepare well.
So, after all the processes and finalisations, they boarded the flight to Italy first. They were keeping Spain, their best bet, for later.
To French Breads and Champagne
Visiting the French Republic proved to be very rewarding. The French coastlines and countryside offered a view that not only brought them closer but also made their honeymoon quite romantic, just like in the Bollywood movies.
The Vatican offered a memorable experience, the stunning architecture and artistic masterpieces of the place blew their mind. They were not just beautiful to look at, each glance towards these artefacts revealed the glorious past of the place.
Florence was also a success, they toured the cathedral of Santa Maria, saw the Statue of David, took an evening walk on the Ponte Vecchio and went to the Piazzale Michelangelo! The streets were filled with Renaissance architecture and buildings, and the entire city smelled of mediaeval times. But don't get fooled, it was one of the most technologically sound cities they had ever visited.
For dinner, they went to a high-end restaurant to celebrate their wedding and savoured some delicious champagne, along with Salmon and Lamb Steak.
“When in Europe, always try their continental” they murmured to each other through mouthfuls of food.
They also went to Paris and did all the touristy stuff like visiting the Eiffel Tower and taking boat rides in the Seine River. They also took a day out and set out on a street food and desert tour of the city on a bicycle. It was one of the most adventurous things that they had done together after marriage and was a lovely experience to share.
Just like football, food can also bring people closer!
Talking about football, their French tour was over and the next part of the journey would take place in Spain.
A dream come true
When they arrived in Barcelona, their first day was at leisure.
Roaming about the streets they found out that there was a beer festival going on, and unable to control their excitement, they headed straight to that place after asking directions from a nearby shopkeeper.
Next up, they went on a full city tour of Barcelona. They had a different guide in Italy and a different one in Spain. Both of them seemed to hold immense knowledge about the place, the people, and their cultures. They also suggested places to eat, buy things, and explore the local essence of the place.
They explored the Casa Batllo, the Cathedral of Barcelona, the neighbourhood of Gothic Quarters, and at last the great Basilica De La Sagrada Familia. Finally, they headed to the famous Spotify Camp Nou to check out its legendary Hall that hosted so many popular footballers.
And then finally, Madrid. The couple had saved it for the last. And the tour did justice to their dreams, imaginations, and love for football. The entire city boasted a grand and majestic old-world charm.
First of all, they went on a tapas and wine-tasting tour. It was the perfect way to get to know Spanish culture. Also, since both of them had been practising this language before coming, it made it easier for them to talk and interact with the locals. Whenever they had problems understanding something, they would ask the guide about it. This practice actually levelled up their trip as everything seemed much more personal and heartfelt. Understanding the language of the land can make a huge difference.
Then they headed for the city tour, which included their much-awaited visit to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium! They visited the Halls of this stadium and took a look at the portraits of the famous footballer that this place has given birth to, over all these years since the 19th century!
The finishing touches
They explore the market of Mercado De San Miguel, the Royal Palace of Madrid in all its grandeur, and the famous museums like the Reina Sofia that showcase various pieces of contemporary and modern art.
The couple had a very detailed and unforgettable trip through Italy and Spain with the assistance and arrangements of Thrillophilia. And they were contended. Their hotels were polished and fine, their transfers on-spot, and their management top-class!
Knowing that they had come for a honeymoon, the service personnel of the hotel and the transfers were catering to them and their needs well.
It was a magnificent trip for both of them, almost like a dream come true! But they had never thought of touring the origin-land of their favourite football clubs in Europe together! This part was like a cherry on top of the cake!
They could not only reestablish their love and give power to their beliefs, but they also laid a well-fortified foundation for their marriage with this trip!
